Winter Time

It's wintertime and the stores already starts to decorate for Christmas. We've had the first snow already even though it was still November and now December is approaching. So time for some cold arctic tunes still good enough to be on the warmth of the Ibiza dance floors! First of is Orjan Nilsen - Arctic Globe (Original Mix).

This next tune is a great tune I am fortunate to have in my possession through Dj Tiesto's double CD Compilation Nyana released in 2003. It's by Solid Globe and the track is called North Pole.

And this last tune is one of the best vocal trance tunes I've ever heard. The lyrics are so powerful and important. It proves that Trance music can be music you reflect over and makes you think about your own future. Here is the club mix for Oceanlab - Miracle.

Today I ordered a couple of CD's. Amongst them was the fantastic Anjunabeats Vol 6 (Mixed by Above & Beyond).

A Great track from that compilation is this tune from Myon & Shane 54. The track I'm going to introduce you to is Myon & Shane 54 - Not A Lot Left (Original Mix).

This second tune is a very nice and mellow tune that makes you slow down and see all the greatness and beauty in the world during the days stress. I recommend you all to have this one in you mp3 player or iPod and to take a moment just an hour before your working day is over to relax and slow down a little bit to this fabulous tune. It's Plasma - Restricted Area.

To finish of I'll give you a very nice track from the old days. It was back in 1999 this was first heard! But still oh, so great Watergate - Heart of Asia.

Let's Dance!!!

Let's hear that funky rhythm!!! Let's shake ass to this brilliant tune! It's a definite dance-club hit that makes you want to "shake it cross the dance floor". This is the debut of the Atlanta, USA born producer Treasure Fingers but he is far from a newcomer. Well known in the industry for his remixes and original tracks. Also known in the D&B scene as part of the group Evol Intent.

Here is the magnificent, brilliant & fantastic Treasure Fingers - Cross the Dancefloor (Lifelike Remix).

After this party starter I'm going to bombard you with a brilliant track by Paul van Dyk Feat. Lo-Fi Sugar. It's a fabulous vocal trance tune that makes, even the worst singer in the world, want to sing along. Here is Paul van Dyk Feat. Lo-Fi Sugar - Haunted

This track can be heard on Paul van Dyk's album In Between and it's the first track on this great album!


Last of is a truly incredible tune that hasen't been released yet officialy as far as I know. I'm so exited about this tune, I'm even going to give you a taste on short and misspelled version I found on youtube. Here is Jo Micali - Euphoria.

In a State Of Trance!

Empire of Trance needs to be up there with the best blogs about electro-music, therefore I have decided to update more frequently then before. I start today with a tune that made me go crazy in the weekend it's Ferry Corsten - Shanti, an amazing track that really make you pumped up for the weekend!

Next up I will play a tune that we all been waiting for.. It's finally that Oliver Smith Remix we've been looking forward too. It's Kenneth Thomas & Chad Cisneros - Breakthrough (Oliver Smith Remix) a great track that's even better with the Oliver Smith remix!!!

I'm going to leave you with another upbeat and energizing track that keeps you awake through the night, I promise!!! It's Frase pres. Ornate - Strikeout

This is going to be a short one.

Every year djmag.com makes a top 100 poll where they ask it's readers who's the best dj's in the world. This year Armin Van Buuren defended his title from last year and was voted NO# 1 dj in the world. As vote NO# 1 in the world he got the question: What's the Tune Of 2008?? A Rough Week

It's been a rough week so far. I'm still physicly tired after Sensation White this last weekend and have got very little sleep. But you have to do what you have to do, and a billion cups of coffey and a little bit of good trance music makes the week go a lot smother. This is a tune I've been listening to a lot to get through the week. I heard it first at Trance Around The World with Above And Beyond and it's just a brilliant track! Sunny Lax - Mique (7 Skies & Static Blue Remix).

Another track that I, as it happens also heard at TATW, is a tune by Signalrunners. They started out as a trans-Atlantic trance project in 2003. Signalrunners is made up by Alan Nimmo from Scotland and Andrew Bayer from USA. They are at the moment signed at Anjunabeats and The track is called Meet Me In Montauk remixed by Oliver Smith.

Today I'm finishing of with a House tune from one of the DJ's that blew my mind this Weekend at Sensation White. This is a track by Sebastian Ingrosso, and here he is joined by fellow member of The Swedish House Mafia, Axwell. Here is Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso - Together.

Holy crap, Sensation White was a masterpiece yesterday!!! As you all know I attended the worlds biggest dance event; Sensation White yesterday. I joined 27.000 other people from all around the world and witnessed a kick ass night! Absolutely an unforgettable night that I easily can say was the coolest I've ever had. It all started with a little limmo drive from Malmö, where we drove around in Malmö at first, to scream and yell to everyone we saw! Then the driver took us over the Öresundsbridge to Parken, whilst we drank and started to prepare for sensation with some amazing music in the limmo!









The Theme was The Ocean of White, gelly fishes and stuff was hanging from the roof!!!

At Sensation it was totaly masterful!!! What is more amazing is how I got lost at first and lost all of my friends. Then I found one, that I later lost to a girl he thought was more interesting. And then found another of my lost friends, so that we at last could be found by the other guys. Then we all could finish of the night to the amazing sounds of Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, the nights best DJ's no doubt about it!!!

Sensation White Copenhagen!

As it happens Sensation White one of the worlds biggest dance-events is visiting Copenhagen the Danish capital this Saturday. As a Swede this is the closest I get to a Sensation event so of course I will be there to enjoy this historical event!

As a service to all you guys visiting Sensation this weekend and everybody else interested in the electro scene I will publish the Line-Up to Sensation White in Copenhagen.

The Line-Up is an impressive bunch of Scandinavians, Netherlanders and Canadians.

First of I'll present:

Erick E (Netherlands)

A fantastic Dj/Producer that has won amongst other things the Best House DJ award 2005/2006 in the Netherlands. Also famous for his own productions in early 2006 his single The Beat is Rockin was released in several countries across Europe and reached top 10 in the Netherlands and entered the UK top 40! Another Top Quality tune from this producer is Boogie Down.

Kjeld Tolstrup (Denmark)

Since the late 80's this Danish DJ have been working his way up to the status of one of Denmark's finest DJ's. Now a National radio host in Denmark and playing all around the hottest clubs in Denmark and the World.

Tiga (Canada)

Tiga is no stranger to the Scandinavian north in 2006, he released his debut album called Sexor, half of the tracks was recorded in Stockholm, Sweden. One of the hottest tunes from that album is You Gonna Want Me. One of the tracks his most famous for is Sunglasses at night, a cover by Corey Harts that he made together with finish houseproducer Zyntherius.

Rune RK (Denmark)

This Danish DJ & Producer is of course most famous for his megahit Calabria. Nobody that claims to know anything about the dance scene must have heard of this classic of his. Released in 2005, it remains a classic hit on dance floors from London to Ibiza today. A fun fact about Rune himself is that he is one of the hardest DJ booth dancers in Europe sometimes even knocking the needle off the records.

Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso (Sweden)

Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso is two of the four popular house DJ's and producers That forms the Swedish House Maffia including also Eric Prydz and Axwell. Steve known for amongst others the Supermode (Angello & Axwell), smash-hit Tell me why a hit from Ibiza to Brazil and beyond) Steve – with a little help from his friends – has helped put Sweden on the map like no other DJ in acid house history. If you then look at Sebastian Ingrosso not bad himself named Best Newcomer at the 2005 DJ Awards in Ibiza. Here is a fantastic tune made by them both Bodycrash, a tune that has got airtime on radioshows all around the world for example by Pete Tong on Radio 1 - Friday nights. The official start to the weekend.

Vocal Trance Baby

Hey you guys! I've been holding out on you all! I'm a real fan of Vocal trance and one of this years biggest vocal trance hits is Sunlounger feat Zara - Lost. Sunlounger is a side project of the very very talented Dj Shah and this is one of 2008 biggest hits on the dance floor this summer.


This next tune is a legendary track when we are talking vocal trance. It's a fantastic tune! It's simply Chicane - Saltwater

In the quest for new tracks for all you guys I found this one for you. It's Leon Bolier & Kamaya Painters - Endless Ocean Wave(Mashup)

I first heard this one on Dj Tiestos Club Life this summer.

Another hot tune is this one Three Drives On A Vinyl - Greece 2000

I've had this one in my iPod for ages and I never get tired of it.

This next tune is such a nice tune, I really like calm an soft sounds in it. It's almost a bedtime tune I think. A great track to finish of with, with other words.
